April 2020: Due to the Covid-19 health crisis travel on the Camino is not possible. We need to keep safe, and we need to keep those who live and work on the Camino safe. April 2020: As social distancing measures are now being practiced across Australia, most of the in-person pilgrim gatherings have been cancelled. For specific information or alternative meeting approaches, please contact the pilgrim group directly.
The Central Coast Camino Group meets on the third Saturday of each month at 9am and starts with a bush walk for about two hours, followed at 11am by coffee etc. The bush walk is optional so that those who only wish to talk or obtain information about a Camino are very welcome. The location for each meeting is variable to help those who live near and far between the Hawkesbury River and Newcastle, and will be made known by a flyer at each meeting, on Facebook or for those who do not use Facebook, by email.
