April 2020: As social distancing measures are now being practiced across Australia, most of the in-person pilgrim gatherings have been cancelled. For specific information or alternative meeting approaches, please contact the pilgrim group directly.
A casual gathering of pilgrims who have walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain, and various other caminos. A place to welcome those who would like to walk The Ways. A place to share & learn. A place to welcome you home again.
They gather as numbers swell at Bar Beach kiosk (or local cafe) at 9.00am on the first Saturday of the month for coffee & chat for an hour. They are not always here, probably walking. But those of you who are able to meet can stay in touch via Facebook & Messenger and agree to meet.
They hope to provide a platform for the inner & outer journey through coffee & chats, knowledge on preparation, occasional organized walks to different areas along the coast between Port Stephens and Sydney. Updating you with Camino information both in Australian and overseas.
